You Are Not Empty
You Are Not Empty
You keep asking yourself:
“Why do I feel… nothing?”
The smiles feel hollow.
The days blur.
And even when something good happens, it barely touches you.
That doesn’t mean you’re broken.
That doesn’t mean your heart has disappeared.
It means your heart is tired.
It’s not absent, it’s overwhelmed.
You’ve been holding so much.
And when we carry pain without releasing it, joy has no room to enter.
What you feel right now isn’t proof of failure.
It’s a signal. A call. A quiet request from your soul:
Please listen to me.
Don’t distract yourself.
Don’t shame yourself.
Just sit. Even for five minutes. And ask yourself with kindness:
“What have I buried lately?”
Because sometimes what feels like emptiness
is actually silence from a heart that hasn’t been heard.
Speak to it gently.
Treat it like an injured bird, not something weak, but something that needs shelter.
You are not hollow.
You are not lost.
You are in a place of transition.
Even the night doesn’t stay.
And this, too, will lift.
